Staunton is blessed to have two "fun" theaters within walking distance or trolley ride to the Inn.
The "Old Dixie, " circa 1927, will soon be the Staunton Theater for the Performing Arts.
Presently it is all spruced up, has a "new popcorn machine," and offers 4 mainstream
pictures changing on a weekly basis.

Two blocks west is the Visulite, circa 1921, which was recently restored and offers a theater with mainstream
pictures and one with focus on foreign, independent, classic, and avant-garde motion pictures.
